Drum Hit Analysis
Thump uses microphone access to listen for individual drum hits and estimate tuning. Audio is processed for tuning feedback and is not sent to us.
No Account
No Login Required
Thump does not require an account, name, phone number, or profile to use the app.

Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information through the Thump app. The app stores tuning-related preferences locally on your device using Apple system storage.
Microphone Permission
Thump requests microphone access so it can detect a drum hit and estimate pitch. Microphone access is used only for tuning features. Thump does not save recordings, upload microphone audio, or use microphone input for advertising.
Local Storage
Your kit presets, drum settings, recent tuning hits, active kit selection, and haptics preference are stored locally on your device. You can delete kit presets or reset onboarding inside the app settings.
Support Emails
If you contact support by email, your email address and anything you include in the message will be used only to respond to your request.
Third Parties
Thump does not use third-party advertising or tracking services. This privacy website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may receive standard server logs when you visit the site.
Children's Privacy
Thump is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Policy Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Continued use of Thump after a policy update means the updated policy applies.
